TwenAfric BV is founded in 2013 and is a joined company of Jan Matel and Joop van der Vinne. Based on many years of experience of Joop van der Vinne in Nigeria and the expertise in architectural steel and staircases by Jan Matel in The Netherlands, the two of them worked together on several projects in Nigeria, saw the opportunities and joined their forces in a new company TwenAfric.

End 2014 the founders of TwenAfric decided to scale up their activities in Nigeria and signed a strong cooperation with Ind.i.a Spa from Italy, world leader in the production of wrought iron and stainless steel parts.


TwenAfric wants to be the leading and most straight-forward trading company in Nigeria providing the best European architectural steel products and related services for the best possible price. We achieve that in offering high quality, anti-rust treated and custom-made materials like mild steel, stainless steel and wrought iron. As an originally Dutch based company, we can build a sustainable business because of our many years of experience and presence in Nigeria and because we only work with the best and market-leading suppliers. TwenAfric is profit driven, but strongly believes in sustainable growth on long-term and sharing its success with their clients.
