The Thinking Hut 4.2

How it all started

The Thinking Hut is the materialized dream of a group of friends who go a long way (before the days of the internet bubble, and its burst). Their relationship has always circled around a common, shared space, which linked them for business and fun. During the Christmas of 2012, one of the members experienced a real physical need for space for his business and together with the rest, decided to put an end to the shortage of square meters while creating an environment where more people could feel comfortable working, sharing, engaging, and in essence, creating.

Where

The Thinking Hut is located at the Mauristkade 55c. The building, dated 1912, once housed the stables for the breweries in the Amstel. Still today, it keeps many of those original features (high ceilings, steel columns, patterned windows...) that make it a solemn construction, with lots of character and charm.

The Thinking Hut is right by the North entrance of the Oosterpark (and after the planned renovations, we will literally be, IN the park!), so you can always go for a walk to search for inspiration or to have a break. Of course you can also opt for the wild hidden garden at the back of the building.
