The Technology and Society Congress (TaSC) is the yearly event of Industrial Engineering and Management students of the University of Groningen (RuG). Every year the congress will make the link between technological development and the impact of this development on society. This year TaSC will take place at April 20th 2016.

The goal of TaSC is to get companies in contact with the students and at the same time to give the students and interesting, instructive and fascinating day where they might find their future employer.

Every year TaSC does have a different theme,
Technology and Society Congress (TaSC) is an annual event for Industrial Engineering and Management students. The conference provides a broad view of technological developments and its impact on society. Throughout the day, several speakers will talk about their workfield, there are parallel sessions with case-solving and a debate. As always, the day ends with a social gathering.

Technology for Life
The theme for the upcoming congress has been revealed! TaSC 2016 will be centered around Healthcare: Technology for Life.

We tried to take every aspect into consideration, offering PTL-related subjects and pharmaceutical companies to cover our PPT track. We hope to inspire you about the technological innovations in healthcare and educate you in using an entrepreneurial mindset to implement such new products into the market.

TaSC is organized by a committee that is part of TBV Lugus, the study association of Industrial Engineering and Management students of the RuG.
