StuRa LM, the student council (STudenten RAat) for the leisure program at Stenden in Leeuwarden. During the school year different formal and informal events are organized by StuRa LM in order to create a pleasant atmosphere within the course. We believe that when students feel comfortable within their studies, they are more likely to help improving it. Another aim is of the StuRa is to improve the course by providing teachers and management with feedback and by helping and listening to students. Enrichment of the student’s life is not only done by the organization of entertaining events, but also by offering the opportunity to make student’s ideas happen. StuRa LM is a platform where the whole course comes together: students, teachers, management, the work field, etc. This platform can be used in all possible ways and StuRa LM encourages students to do this. This will not only improve the students as a leisure manager, it also improve the image of the whole course.
