Science Workshops for Primary Kids

The workshops are aimed at making science exciting for primary school children and to develop an interest in STEM (Science, Technology and Mathematics) subjects. Each workshop introduces children to a new scientific concept or idea in a simplified or age appropriate way. It starts with a presentation and a group discussion on the subject of the week, followed by the children having the opportunity to explore the topic of the day by performing hands-on experiments.

The materials I provide include take home notes, to keep parents informed of what the children learned at the workshop. As a result, you as parents, can reinforce the learning process by discussing the topic at home.


Tutoring

Whatever your child needs a hand in – whether in Maths, Science and English, or just their homework, I would love to help boost your child’s confidence. While academic improvement is important, I am much more interested in helping kids feel confident and happy in life. Once a child’s confidence improves, then they feel safe to ‘have a go’ and try new things and even stretch
themselves a bit at school.
