Retort Art Space 3.46

Retort Art Space (RAS) is bezig met een grootscheepse reorganisatie. Onder leiding van Joery de Winter en Léa Desaint zal RAS zich gaan ontwikkelingen tot een avontuurlijk kunstcentrum en een cultureel verantwoord ontmoetingsplek. Ter zijne tijd zal de nieuwe koers die RAS gaat varen ingewijd worden met een feestelijke 'grand opening'!

Retort Art Space (RAS) is currently busy with a major reorganization under a new management consisting of Joery de Winter and Léa Desaint. The new team is very busy turning RAS into a adventurous arts center and culturally rich meeting point. In time, this new direction will be inaugurated with a 'grand opening'!

Retort Art Space = een tentoonstellingsruimte voor beeldende kunst en biedt ruimte voor onderzoek en experiment. De cross-over tussen kunst en beeldend onderzoek en kunst en wetenschap staan centraal in de programmering. Retort Art Space presenteert o.a. vernieuwde kunstdisciplines zoals biokunst en interactieve kunst, work-in-progress-projecten, installaties en projecten van startende kunstenaars. Gekoppeld aan tentoonstellingen organiseert Retort Art Space discursieve events zoals lezingen, debatten, filmvertoningen en workshops. Retort Art Space is onderdeel van Retort (www.retortproject.nl), een complex van 34 ateliers en een gastatelier.

Retort Art Space = is an art space for contemporary, visual art and offers room for research and experimentation. The program focuses on cross over of art, artistic research and science. We present new disciplines like bio arts and interactive art, but also work in progress projects, installations and projects by emerging artists. Retort Art Space organizes discursive events like debates, film screenings and workshops linked to exhibitions. We are part of Retort (www.retortproject.nl), a complex of 34 studios and a guest studio.
