Dear all,

My name is Lisanne de Jong. I recently finished my 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training at "De Nieuwe Yoga school" in Amsterdam. The decision that made me enroll a yoga teacher training and become a yoga teacher was something I have thought of for a quite some time but never dared to do it. I have been practicing yoga since 2010 and thankfully I finally made the decision to follow my passion.

The teacher training was a transforming experience in which I have learned a lot about yoga, myself and life in general. Yoga is great for your body and mind. I teach Vinyasa flow, which is a combination of asana's (physical exercises), meditation and breathing exercises.Yoga is for everybody, and it can truly benefit you in every aspect of your life.

Parinama means transformation. It's one of the principles of the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali which is THE yoga literature originally written in Sanskrit language, it is in many respects the bedrock for yoga training.
Everything in nature, including ourselves, changes from moment to moment, day to day, year to year. How well we accept and adapt to changes can affect our lives in helpful or harmful ways. Live in Nature's ebb and flow, change and grow with it, feel the discomfort of resistance, and let it go.

Yoga arose in India centuries ago.
It's not just about the exercises you learn in the classes, but there is a very big philosophy behind it and there are religions like Hindoeism and Buddhism where yoga arose from. The main part about this philosophy is that the mind, body and spirit are all one.
Yoga means unify or connection.
Which you will notice during the classes is that we connect the movements with the breath, you focus yourself and give all your energy. So that we finally finish with a meditation.

Don't hestitate to contact me trough sending me a message if you have any questions or would like to have more information about my classes or yoga.

Namaste,

Lisanne
