Oh the Sea (in Dutch Oh die Zee) is an audio/theatrical project that will take place from augustus 6 till august 30, 2015, on 3 locations in The Hague: the harbor, the sand dunes in the Westduinpark and at the beach Zuiderstrand. Based on the Odyssey by Homer fragments concerning the sea (think the Sirenes or Scylla and Charibdis) can be heard on earphones, sitting on specially made lounge banks overlooking the sea. Participant can walk to the different locations combining different views of the sea. The Odyssey as a radio drama was made in 1994 by Ingrid van Frankenhuyzen, with actor Ton Lutz. It comes in 3 languages: Dutch, English and Germa.
You can start any time between 10.00 and 18.00 at beach pavilion La Cantina (Zuiderstrand 1). Costs: € 5,-
