MVA Certified Expat Broker 2.18

The MVA is the professional organisation for estate agents active in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. It represents some 500 certified and experienced estate agents working in Amsterdam, Abcoude, Aalsmeer, Amstelveen, Hoofddorp, Diemen, Landsmeer, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Uithoorn, Waterland, the Zaanstreek and Zwanenburg.

The MVA is the largest regional section of the Nederlandse Vereniging van Makelaars (NVM) [Netherlands Association of Real Estate Brokers].

The MVA was established in 1877. It merged in 1984 with the Nederlandse Bond van Makelaars [Netherlands Federation of Real Estate Brokers], the forerunner to the NVM. All MVA members are thus also members of the NVM, the Netherlands’ largest trade association.

Besides representing the interests of the estate agents affiliated with us, we systematically provide these agents with all the relevant information about developments within the real estate world.

We not only offer our affiliated agents training in the form of supplemental practice-oriented seminars, but also, upon request, provide land registry data, extracts from trade registers and/or information from the municipal housing library accurately and at lightning speed through our online connections.

With all their expertise, MVA agents are happy to assist expats in both purchasing and selling new homes. We can also help you in renting, leasing out or valuing a home, and can answer your questions about the Amsterdam housing market.
