De interdisciplinaire voorstelling Golden Cage is een indrukkende show. Tijdens deze show worden zowel nachtelijke dromen als manieren om je levensdromen te verwezenlijken geïllustreerd. De tralies die wij onszelf overdag opleggen vervagen ’s nachts: dan is alles ineens mogelijk. Er ontstaan vragen: “Wat is een droom? En, als wij allemaal grenzen laten vervliegen, kunnen wij in het echte leven ook ineens alles?”

Door middel van dans, visuals, een DJ gesteund door 11-koppige band, rapper en een unieke podiumopstelling – het publiek zit letterlijk rondom én middenin het stuk – brengt Golden Cage toeschouwers in een trip zónder drugs! Aan het stuk werken dertig bijna of net afgestudeerde artiesten en kunstenaars mee.

Golden Cage is an interdisciplinary performance which we want to take on tour to eight extraordinary locations in the Netherlands in early 2016. During the performance both actual dreams as well as ways to realise your dreams in life are illustrated. The restrictive cage we put ourselves in during the daytime disappears at night: suddenly everything is possible. Questions start to arise: What is a dream? And, if all of us would let go of our constraints, would we be able to achieve everything in real life?

Through dance, visuals, a DJ, supported by a 11-piece band, a rapper and a unique stage setting – the audience is placed in and around the performance – Golden Cage brings the audience in a trip without drugs. The company of thirty consists of artists who are either still studying or recently graduated.
