Details

Erasmus University was founded in 1913 by the Rotterdam entrepreneurs Jacob Ruys, Cornelis van Stolk and Willem Mees. They turned their vision of a specialised educational programme focusing on the needs of entrepreneurs and the business community into reality. One hundred years later, their initial ambitions are still relevant: the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE) embodies Erasmus University’s focus on entrepreneurship, maintaining the university founders’ century-old ambition.

The ECE is where the many facets of entrepreneurship find a home, bringing business and academia together. In our three main focus areas you can learn new skills (Education), add new knowledge (Research) and apply the skill and knowledge in practice (Services). On our Facebook page we post updates about our activities. Go to our website and find out how we help startups start up, how we help new businesses move forward and grow, and how we help established companies renew themselves. Come and meet us at one of our many events and let’s find out how we can help each other.
