EAST SIDE/ WEST SIDE 2.59

EASTSIDE / WESTSIDE is a foundation that realizes an artist in residence programme for
young artists within the European Union. The programme consists of two parts.

The first part is an artist in residency in Groningen the Netherlands. Over the course of four weeks, 12 artists will reside in an accomodation to live together and produce artworks, accompanied by an intensive day-evening programme. At the end of these four weeks the first part will end with a small scale exhibition in Groningen.

The second part of EASTSIDE / WESTSIDE consists of a series of exhibitions in various places in Europe.

The artworks that have been made during thefirst part will be exhibited in Helsinki, Groningen, Madrid and Sofia.
