DNA On Tour offers an act and it's crew a tour (including promotional activities) of live performances for a Dutch act in one of the receiving countries. Expertise, training and coaching by experts of the hosting organization. A tour consists of a two week period with a minimum of 6 shows and further training in the Music Industry in the hosting country.

The tour will be set up by the students of the HBA and the students of the hosting organization, supervised by the experts of the hosting country and supported by the professional staff of the HBA.

DNA ON TOUR started in 2012. The HBA got funding for a 2013 and 2014 edition of the Lifelong Learning Program of Leonardo da Vinci. The aim is to find a partner and add the UK as the fifth country in the edition 2014.

More specific:
1) to give successful young Dutch acts and their crew the possibility to extend their careers in Europe;
2) to set up an extended program for a selected group of alumni of the Herman Brood Academie (life long learning, bridging the gap between vocational education and the European labor market);
3) to raise attention on Europe as a possibility for professional careers for Dutch acts, technicians and tour managers and
4) to raise the attention of the Music Industry in the hosting country for the potentials of young Dutch professionals.

-an effective way to build a transnational professional network, enabling the artist and crew members to work on a European career;
