Are you looking for a countryside (quiet) environment and hospitality, our B&B in the Zuidoostbeemster (Netherlands) is absolutely appropriate for you! Our B&B (also for rent as a holiday home) is near the Beemster canal, is surrounded by meadows and is located in the UNESCO World Heritage the Beemster.

The name “Buitenplaats Langewijk” has a long history. In the 17th century a VOC member from Enkhuizen had a house called Langewijk on our land. The house is not there anymore, but there are still old water cellars and occasionally we find ancient potsherds.

Our Bed & Breakfast is centrally located in Noord-Holland and is a great base for bikers, hikers and excursions. Nearby attractions are: Amsterdam (30 km), the Zaanse Schans (15 km), Haarlem, the beach, Volendam / Marken (13 km), swimming pool in Purmerend, wellness center Beemster, Enkhuizen (open air museum and sproojeswonderland) and Golf course Purmerend.

The Bed & Breakfast and holiday home is located in a separate building (the old stable). Because of the private entrance and private bathroom our guests have a lot of privacy. From your window you look out over the meadows, you can see the Beemster canal and fort benoorden Purmerend (part of the thesis of Amsterdam).

We have used authentic furniture to create a rural atmosphere and to align the B&B in the area. Your “room” is large (about 70 m2) and includes a lower- and an upper floor. The bedroom is located on the ground floor just like the spacious private bathroom. The cozy dining area with old wooden church chairs is located on the first floor. Just like the fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, cooker, refrigerator and microwave) and a sitting area with satellite TV, DVD player and stereo set.

You can make use of free Wi-Fi, coffee and tea in your room. Fees apply for use of the minibar. Free parking is available on site. Enjoy our guests terrace, which is located in our cozy garden. On appointment kids can make a free pony ride accompanied by our daughter. If your kids like it, then they can also take care of the ponies.
