In 1997, with the initiative of Frans Scherpenisse, The Alconet Group was formed based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The various activities of The Alconet Group include container depot services, container renovation and re-engineering and the purchasing and onward selling of various types of containers.

Our quality equipment and services have been fine tuned towards providing the highest levels of customer service available. In the last 15 years, The Alconet Group has successfully negotiated and implemented many container modification programmes, some of which have been for offshore, fully fitted mobile workshops and storage contracts.
