Through dance and music of different styles and calibre participate at our event for, social purposes,improving dance skills, escape from boredom, either way the list goes on en on. People from all over collide just to enjoy the music provided by the best djs around, live performances by bands, live shows by dancers, dance workshops by artists before the party starts to get you updated and tuned up to the current level. Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba/Zouk, Afrohouse, Urban and many more.

Origins

Afrosession Extravaganza was founded out of curiosity, simply asked myself what are the most important ingredients in a dance party. Then also asked different attenders(dancers) of the things they wish they had in events they attended. By asking from an attenders perspective you can learn more about organising the right events for the right reasons. These ideas and sort of approach have helped shape the evolution of this movement. But the most important thing is every step I made has not changed my goal but the idea has simply stayed the same. BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER!

That brings us to, yes indeed *bringing people together and *getting them entertained * hence the reason we highly make use of taxi dancers. Particularly male dancers due to the fact that the attendance of female dancers at this event has always exceeded that of men. So MR if you are reading this, yesss we need you to come and help us out by dancing with these ladies.

We make use of 3/'4 dance areas depending on the concept.
*Salsa Area
*Bachata Area
*Kizomba Area
*Urban/hip hop/ reggeaton area!
We beleive in diversity so everyone is also welcome at our event, no matter race, age(minimum 18 and maximum 180) you get the point hahaha. For those with limited to NO experience do not be discouraged just hop in when the event commences and normally you will receive a workshop of atleast 2genres. The dance coaches will help you understand the basics!
