Aboubacar Soumah is a well known artist in Senegal, Gambia en Guinee. He started his music career in Guinee Conakry when he was just eleven years old. He played with great artists such as Mamady Keita en Seckou Keita, they are famous all over the world. After playing in Wassalon, Dounia, Dimbaya, and Sollywouley he now has formed his own group: Africa United. This group garantees you a great experience in Guinee percussion and traditional music from de Casamance, with ritmes like casa, mani, solly, yoki and doundounba. Bouba’s specialities are dancing, singing and he is a fantastic doundounfola. Besides percussion Africa United will give you a wonderfull evening by playing bolong, bongoma, balafoon, krins and guitar. These are the traditional instruments of Guinee.
