Arekmane or Qaria (Rifian Berber: Larbaa Orekmam) is a coastal town in Morocco, in the Oriental region. It is located in the province Nador in the Rif, 45km from the Algerian border, 25km from the city of Nador. It is located south of the lagoon of the Mar Chica. Arekmane is served by the Mediterranean ring road running through it. Arekmane is known for its busy summer beach, by the citizens of Nador. The city is part of the tourism development project Marchicamed.
A Arekmane every Wednesday, is a large market place, which allows the surrounding population to come to shop (meat, fish, vegetables, fruits), buy farm animals, and repair of objects of all kinds.
