ن التطور الهائل الذي حدث في مجال الاتصالات السلكية واللاسلكية والبريد والهاتف في الكويت انما جاء نتيجة جهود مكثفة ومثمرة قام بها على التعاقب المسؤولون الذين تعاقبوا على هذا المرفق من اجل تدعيم وتطوير أعمال وخدمات وزارة المواصلات خدمة للشعب الكويتي ودفع لعجلة التقدم في دولة الكويت.

تمثل خدمات البريد والبرق والهاتف في مجموعها احدى الوسائل الفعالة في أي مجتمع نحو زيادة نموه واضطراد تقدمه وانتقاصه , وذلك بفضل ما تتيحة له تلك الخدمات من أسباب الاتصال بين أفراده داخليا وبينهم وبين العالم الخارجي.

تضطلع به وزارة المواصلات دور هام وأساس في اثراء حياة الشعوب وترابطها وتبادل المنافع والأفكار والثقافات فيما بينها .وان الخدمات التي تقدمها وزارة المواصلات أصبحت ضمن المعايير الأساسية في قياس المستوى الحضاري في بلدنا الحبيب الكويت.

The enormous development that happened in the field of telecommunications, mail and telephones in Kuwait resulted from huge and fruitful efforts by the officials who worked on that development to support and enhance the services and the works of the ministry They are consequently presenting services to the Kuwaiti people and push the wheel of progress in the state of Kuwait
The services of post , telegraph and telephones as a whole represent one of the most effective means in any society towards increasing its development and decreasing its regression. This is because of the availability of services and the means of communications whether internal or external
The role of the ministry considered as an important role through supporting the life of people’s interdependence and exchange benefits , ideas and cultures
The services which are presented by the ministry became one of the basic standards in measuring the civilization level in our dearest country Kuwait
The telecommunications passed through different stages of progress that cope with human development which work on human welfare and luxury
