The first Kip McGrath Education Centre opened its doors in Maitland NSW in 1980. Founded by school teachers Kip and Dug McGrath, that first tutoring centre has grown since then into a global franchise network of over 650 tutoring centres owned and operated by caring teachers who have a common motivation; a passion for helping kids. Offering tutoring to children from pre-school through to Year 12 in reading, spelling, comprehension, English and maths, our tutoring centres in Australia and now in Kuwait can be found in both metropolitan and regional locations.At Kip McGrath we assess each child to find out exactly where their strengths and weaknesses are. After the assessment, if tutoring is required, an individual program will be devised and the goals that we will work towards will be discussed and agreed upon with the parent or carer. Our lessons are 80 minutes long with 10-15 minutes of homework. As we prepare each lesson for your child every week and have fully qualified tutors ready to teach your child, payment is required whether your child attends or not. If you cannot make it to the lesson, an at home lesson which you can do on your home computer will be set so you don't miss the lesson. To achieve the agreed goal we are working towards, each lesson must be completed. Our goal is to accelerate your child's skills to get a self motivated learner. We also wish to see children reach their full optimum level of achievement.
