The Habitat Museum is an engaging, memorable learning adventure for Kuwaitis young and old, and a destination for school groups.

Drawing on the expertise of the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) and other institutions, the Museum showcases the work of Kuwaiti scientists so that visitors can see the country through their skilled eyes.

The Museum also promotes an appreciation for the nation's habitats, transforming visitors into naturalists and khalifas, or stewards, of the environment.

The Habitat Museum invites visitors to explore the land habitats of Kuwait, from desert plateaus to salt marshes.

They realize the vital role plants play in habitats, learn about the latest Kuwaiti scientific research, and meet the country’s diverse bird life, all while engaged in hands-on discovery.
