Rikuchū-Yamada Station was a JR East railway station located in Yamada, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The station was destroyed during 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, and operations have been replaced by a provisional Bus Rapid Transit line.LinesRikuchū-Yamada Station was served by the Yamada Line, and was located 128.6 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Morioka Station.HistoryRikuchū-Yamada Station opened on 17 November 1935.
