Kakuozan Montessori International School is proud to be one of a very select group of English speaking Montessori schools in Japan. Kakuozan Montessori International School is lead by Mrs. Ping Damiani, an Association Montessori International (AMI) certified American educator with a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Loyola University of Maryland, and its curriculum, is also supervised by Dr. Jonathan Damiani, a professor locally with a Ph.D. in Teaching & Curriculum from Syracuse University in New York, and a Master's degree in Special Education from the City College of New York in New York City. Dr. Damiani's research and passion is focused on educational leadership and student voice. Kakuozan Montessori International School provides an authentic and meaningful Montessori program for children ages 0-6 by day, and English classes taught by native English speaking educators for children and adults after school. Kakuozan International Schoolis focused on meeting the diverse learning needs of its students by providing a truly unique alternative curriculum that is better equipped to meet the needs of curious young learners.
