Jim Hathaway was an oil painter in New York. For the 25 years he has been an ink painter in Tokyo. JimuSoan is his studio. In October every year JimuSoan is open as part of the Geikoten, a community wide exhibition. This page is for news of this and other exhibitions he is involved in.

アメリカ人墨絵画家。NY州出身。NY州立大学にて油絵を学んだ後、1989年に来日、墨絵と出会う。東京谷中にアトリエを構え、創作活動を続ける中、教鞭も取る。テレビ出演、雑誌へのエッセイ投稿、マスコミからの取材も多数。著書に「下町の外人さん」がある。
