International Mixed Volleyball, Japan 2.37

Mixed volleyball is a fun and healthy sports activity that can be played by all ages of both men and women. International Mixed Volleyball in Japan aims to organise events and tournaments and make diverse environment for variety of people to join regardless of where they are from.

Mixed volleyball in Japan started in 2003 with just 12 teams in the tournament. Now with the effort of JMVA (Japan Mixed Volleyball Association), the number of teams has grown up to 1,000 teams and enjoy games throughout the years. We will continue to build the leagues not only for Japanese players but also internationals hosting in Tokyo by 2020.

In July 2016, we held the first International Mixed Volleyball tournament in Tokyo.

混合バレーは幅広い年齢層、性別関係なく楽しめるスポーツです。インターナショナル混合バレーは多様性のある環境を作り、楽しく、健康的にプレーできるようトーナメントやイベントを企画しています。

2003年、混合バレーボールはわずか12チーム参加の大会として開始しました。JMVA(日本混合バレー協会)のサポートのもと、現在では約1000チームが参加する大きな大会に成長しています。2020年東京オリンピック開催を記念し、今後は日本チームのみならず、インターナショナルチームを歓迎して開催していきたいと考えております。

2016年7月に第1回インターナショナル・混合バレー大会を東京にて開催致しました。
