The aim of the magazine is to use interesting, global and current topics that have been reported in the news as a basis for a meaningful exchange and production of language.

The magazine will feature 4 topics every month. These topics will be drawn from the magazine`s 10 key sections of; Health, Technology, Nature, Culture, Travel, Entertainment, Sport, Education, Lifestyle and Seasonal.

The key element of the magazine is that it uses striking imagery, video and photography to stimulate interest amongst the students and to further contextualize and personalize the topic of the lesson.

The flip turning software used to present the images and the staged activities give the lesson the feel of an actual, real magazine or book. A PDF download of the lesson will be also made downloadable for print.

The students will be able to use this study pack in the lesson to record their answers and input. The lesson can be accessed for review and homework at any time by the students on a smart phone, tablet or PC.

In keeping with a task/content based methodology, the students are given every chance, through each of the activities, to produce and recycle language to help them complete the productive task at the end of the lesson.
