湯之島館は下呂温泉の北東、湯之島山の中腹に、昭和六年（1931年）に創業した温泉旅館です。湯之島館の歴史ある建物は、平成22年（2010年）に国登録有形文化財に登録されました。

Yunoshimakan is located on halfway up of Yunoshima mountain in the northeast district of Gero Onsen in Gifu prefecture. Yunoshimakan was established in 1931 and proud of its historical structure and was registered as one of ''Japan's Important Cultural Properties'' in 2010.
