New state-of-the-art facility provides chefs and culinary professionals the chance to train and experiment with the most comprehensive and diverse selection of high-quality global Gourmet chocolate products.

CHOCOLATE ACADEMYTM center in Tokyo is Barry Callebaut’s 19th chocolate training center in the world and the 4th in Asia Pacific

Kohei Ogata appointed head of Tokyo CHOCOLATE ACADEMYTM center and Callebaut chef, bringing with him 17 years of international and Japanese experience

Our CHOCOLATE ACADEMY™ center in Tokyo is a teaching and training center for artisans and professionals who want to improve their working skills in chocolate and pastry, and learn about new trends, techniques and recipes. It is part of a network where more than 500 interested craftsmen attend our events every week.
With the infrastructure of our CHOCOLATE ACADEMY™ centers we can cater to each and every question on cocoa, chocolate and the technical aspects involved. We can also experiment with potential applications for chocolate, among all the possibilities.

The Tokyo center open in June 2015 with a spectacular space that can cater to 12 students for hands-on classes and 30 students for demos.
