Premier Hotel Mojiko, a landmark of the retro city of Mojiko in Fukuoka Prefecture Japan, was designed by the late Aldo Rossi, a Pritzker winning Italian architect. The hotel stands within the public square as a bridge between the street and the sea. Interior decorations, furniture, and lighting were specially selected by Shigeru Uchida, one of Japan’s leading interior designers. The themes of the hotel are—View of Mojiko, City of History and Modern Buildings, and Story of the Hotel.
