Zonal Welfare Council 3.39

The organization was founed on 15th day of August in the year of 1980,later But Approved by State Government (West-Bengal Goverment) on 17 th day of may in the year of 1990.

The organisation obtained its registration under the name of Zonal Welfare Council -ZWC on 17th may 1990 under Society Registration Act. XXVI of 1961 , Govt.of West Bengal. In 1990 the Organisation was on registration under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 1976, the Government of India. The amendment of a provision to work within the state of West Bengal as made by ZWC was afterwards approved by the Register of Societies, empowered the organisation to carry on its activities anywhere in the country.

Who We Are

In 1990, the formation of ZWC was initiated by a band of dedicated youth on the basis of their social commitments wanted to play an organised role in sharing peoples development. This led to establishment of an office in a cottage in Joyrampur village of Bishnupur Block - I&II. They started working with the people of 20 villages of Diamond Harbour Block-II and Kanganberia in the district 24 Parganas (South) of West Bengal
Our Organistion has availed the Papers like 80G (V) & 80G (VI), Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, WestBengal. Registrar Of Societies, 12(A) and Others. Our Governing Body consists of a right mix of young and experienced proffesional devoloped workers directs the young and comitted functionaries and coreleam.
