Viscosity Dance Academy located at Adyar & Anna Nagar is home for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds looking for creative self-expression and to achieve physical fitness through the joy of dance.

Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.

We welcome beginners and challenge advanced students. Viscosity features highly qualified instructors, program flexibility, pleasant and inclusive group ambience, and above all a sense of fun.

Jagadish Kumar, Director and Instructor of Viscosity Dance Academy trained and worked for 7 years under the guidance of Prasanna Kumar, Director of "The Swingers Dance Company".

The next move was to explore greater horizons and Jagadish travelled to the United States of America to study dance further at the "Broadway Dance Centre", New York to train in Contemporary, Jazz and Hip-hop. He had the opportunity to learn under some great faculty like Michelle Barber, Mishay Petronelli, Brice Mousset, Tracie Stanfield, Jared Grimes, Luam, Joanna Numata and Carlos Neto.

He also learnt under choreographers of the famous dance reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" like Sonya Tayeh, Brian Friedman, Dee Caspary, Chaz Buzan and Talia Favia.

With first hand knowledge gained from all of them, he performed at the Broadway Dance Centre. Now Jagadish is back to share his creativity, passion for dance, techniques and expertise to the students of Viscosity.
