Vidya Bharti Mahakoshal was established in 1977, as a Regional Committee Of Vidya Bharti Akhil Bharatiya Shikshan Sansthan. It is the largest Non- Govt. Organization in the field of education in Mahakosahal and as well as India also.

The organization is part of the Sangh Parivar and is understood to be integral to promote Hindutva- Hindutva nationalism by targeting areas with limited facilities.
