UP POLICE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM: UP​ 100

UP 100 is meant to take prompt action in a fixed minimum time limit by sharing the information received through phone calls with the concerned police station/police post of concerned district and other officers. This system will be monitoring the police action continuously till the problem is solved. The plan is to have 3200 four wheeler/1600 two-wheeler vehicles with GPS system which will be sent to the spot for action. The advantage of this ultra-modern control room will be easily available to the rural and urban areas and the relief will be made available immediately to the victim concerned. The call center of Dial 100 has a current capacity of 300 personnel.

Register With UP 100 The Citizen can register with following information - My Emergency Contacts: Up to 5 emergency contacts may be registered. In the case of emergency, SMS will be sent to all registered contacts from the user’s mobile phone. My Locations: When a registered user calls UP100 in the case of an emergency, his/her registered locations will be displayed on the police officer’s screen. This will assist us to locate the place of an emergency faster to save critical time. My Languages: You may register languages known to you, and indicate if you are willing to assist others in emergencies as a ‘Language Volunteer’.
