Ever since I was a small kid, robotic toys and remote-controlled robots and cars have fascinated me. Dismantling these things and trying to figure out their mechanism would be my favorite past-time. Back then getting any information on Robotics was not possible and this left my curiosity unfulfilled. Even though now it is possible to get information on just about any topic, information on Robotics is rather haphazard.

Following this childhood passion, I grew up to become an Electronics Engineer and later went on to do my Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Backed-up with my line of education and interest in Physics and Electronics combined helped me create a number of robotic contraptions and remote-controlled robots. In the process, I won many competitions and had hands-on experience in building robots from scratch.

Another question that kept on coming to me was that are there any kids who are as curious as I was when it comes to Robotics. Finally I came up with an idea of setting up a club for Robotics on Facebook, which would serve as a common platform for like-minded people globally. The aim of this club would be to share ideas and information, solve queries and provide guidance for building innovative robots.

So here I welcome all those people whose inquisitiveness gets spiked just at the mention of the word ‘Robot’.
