The baker duo- Ekta and Gunjan
Ekta Acharya, instinctively creative and artistic, began her career as a fashion designer in year 2006. It was just by accident that she stumbled into baking. A hobby taken up to satisfy her love for cooking soon turned into a passion. She often treated her friends and relatives to freshly baked cakes, cupcakes and yummy desserts.
Her penchant for style and design, and an innate talent for baking, allowed her to experiment with flavours and designs and soon she left behind her career in fashion designing to pursue her baking dreams.
She founded Ocean cake shop in the year 2007 wih the help of encouraging family and friends and sister Gunjan Acharya, a BMM graduate a good strategist and with her marketing skills she is a perfect complement to Ekta’s ingenuity and magical baking. She understands the requirements of the customers very well and the customers would very often leave the design part to be decided by her.
The success of this dynamic duo and the affection shown by their customers has always inspired them to experiment with flavours and designs. Their team is dedicated to serving mouth-watering delicacies with superior customer service.
