The Chaiwala 5.16

The Chaiwala, was conceived as a childish rebellion to be different and to defy the rules of a regular workaday life. The Chaiwala (the owner), then a young school goer in his naive teens, had a dream that surpassed those of his peers.
But with the woes of teenage and the pressure of the mainstream, this dream remained locked up with his old comics, and other childhood fantasies, in a corner, but not forgotten.
As the final year of his college life approached, with it dawned the realisation that this was the time to make the move and turn that little thoughtless rebellion into a full blown reality. Thus, began the journey – and it was not without companions either – an old classmate, Mr Banker and a senior from college, Mr Designer.
The companions seemed equally, if not more enthused upon the proposal of this adventurous endeavor. However, they were all struggling to find their way in the world and decided that as soon as Mr Banker and The Chaiwala were done with college and Mr Designer was a bit more, for the lack of a better word, settled in life, they would begin. Roughly a year and a half later, we can see how that adventure has materialized in front of our eyes!
But, this is just the beginning of a long and elaborate journey, believes The Chaiwala. Behold, the power of chai!
