This math is a brainchild of Pujya Joshi Kaka ji. Shri Deepak Dattatray Joshi, fondly called as Joshikaka by his followers, hails from Siddhatek but now settled in Pune for a long time. Kakaji belongs to Nath sect. His name in Nath Sampradaya is ‘Shri Ganesh Nathji’. In 1982, he turned to Swami Marga by Guru mother Agasti Aai, who was a great authority in Swami Marga. By the guidance of Swami Samartha himself, Kakaji planned this mathh. During this course, people keep on joining, and to have everything organized and in order, Om Swami Samartha Sadhana Kendra was founded in Pune, and registered as trust.

After a lot of searching for places, Kakaji finally settled on this place situated in Parshuram’s sacred Konkan. When Kakaji first reached here, he saw Swamiji standing on a stone. The decision of this place was taken then and there.

The mathh is literally carved in Jungle. The entire place was filled completely by trees, almost all ground was unleveled. There was no water source nearby, no electricity, no big towns on both sides in nearby vicinity. Still, by Swamiji’s grace, the work progressed step by step. While it was no easy walk, the obstacles were overcome and paths made, Swami Mandir and other projects started taking shape. On 27 November 2003, Rashi Nakshatra Udyan was inaugurated.

After 7 years from buying the land, on 28st April 2008, Swami Mandir in all its glory and form was inaugurated. There were 9 days of havans for various Dev Devtas, and on 10th day, the idol of Swami Samartha, weighing 1200 kgs, made in Jaipur in Marble, was brought from Mhasala to Mathh in a grand ceremony.
