It all began in 1968 when our beloved Father, Founder and Visionary Dr.G.Rajakumar (1933-2006) established St. John’s Educational Trust and instituted this school as the pioneer of St.John’s group of schools in Chennai, to provide the best possible education for children in a caring environment.

From then till 2006, our Founder with his perspiration, guidance, and humble support of his wife and our Chairperson Mrs.Sakuntala Rajakumar, made his vision come true by establishing seven different schools in Chennai under St. John’s Educational Trust.

His most trusted phrase ‘Wisdom is better than Rubies’ has been defined as our school’s motto.
