St.luke's church has gradually evolved over the past two hundred years from serving only the british troops stationed in the fort area, to welcoming indian christians into worshiping and serving the true living god .It is a congregation with strong roots in the SPG and Anglican traditions both which were absorbed into the church of south india.
we worship a God of history who remains unchanged in this fast changing world.the same god has been with St.luke's church right from when it was first built and called fort church which was the first protestant church to be erected in bangalore by the british in 1808.
The church has a rich and colourful history till today,its worship services continue to be one of a kind.
