Sree Durgaa School, Perundurai was established in 2011 with nothing more than a vision to provide the best in education to the community in Perundurai and the district. Sree Durgaa School is unit of Sree Durga trust. This school has got a long history of 40 years. It started as Mercy garden English medium school, Old bus stand in Perundurai in 1973 -1996.
Then it is turned to be Sharon Metric school, Perundurai from 1996 to 2004(Sree murugan theater near). Then the school was taken over by Roseph Sharon matriculation school from 2004 to 2011.

Sree Durgaa trust took over the school as Sree Durgaa CBSE School since 2011. Overall the school bags multiple experiences and culture from Angelo Indian School to metric and then now CBSE.

The sheer determination to not compromise and to provide the best in infrastructure, technology and facilities saw more than 200 students enrolling in the school in the first two years.

The vision of the management has always been to provide the best and the latest in technology in all forms of educational aids and best in sports. Every classroom is equipped with Interactive White Boards. The software is designed to provide additional resources for use by the teachers. Every teacher is also continuously trained in the use of the software, the hardware, and the unique teaching methodology and leverage the creativity aspects of children.

Sports facilities are on par with the international championship facilities. Volleyball, throw ball, table tennis, carom, chess are only few of the other sports available here.
Yoga is mandated for all the students and staff to ensure mental fitness and energy.
