Our vision and efforts to offer our services through the path shown by Swamiji are going to take the shape of reality at Bagnan, Dist: Howrah as per various projects and activities enumerated below:

Orphanage :

All souls in this world are the great gift of God. We are His sons and hence to our ideas and belief the term orphan is a word, which is not exact to identify a son of our great creator and a brother of our own. From that point of view we feel that it is our duty to give shelter to the orphans and provide them with some social security. Since an individual effort is never considered enough, we have decided with our collective efforts to start an Orphanage under the aegis of our above organization. We believe that through our proposed project of an Orphanage at Bagnan, we will, by the grace of Almighty, be able to bring those orphans to the main stream of our society so as not to let them get lost in the dark catacomb of our so-called world.

Old-age Home :

When helpless old and aged men and women on reaching the edge of their mortal life are left to the margin of loneliness and desolation, it is not unnatural that they from their virtual isolation expect a little care, a loving hand to wipe out their tears and patient ears to listen to their owes. Often it is seen that old parents of well-to-do sons spend their nights under the open sky ! The main object of our proposed Project of the old age home at Bagnan is to inculcate in those old men and women a sense that the “Life is real, life is earnest, and death is not its goal, Dust thou art and to Dust returnest, is not the spoken of the soul”. It is therefore our conviction that our proposed project of building an old age home will be the most befitting gesture for showing our reverence to them.

Setting up a Primary School :

Swamiji advised “Education is a manifestation of perfection already in man”. But even being the sons of our great father, the Creator, many in our country remain deprived of basic education. In spite of the slogans that education is a fundamental right, the fact remains that education is yet to reach all the corners of our country. It is Swamiji’s bold advice and gospel that has motivated us to set up a primary school at our Bagnan Project site where children will get admitted and primary and basic education will be imparted according to his ideals and styles.

Computer Training Centre :

It is superfluous to mention how important computer is in our life. It is also not unknown that in addition to printed books that we need for our education, computer constitutes a very significant role in the field of basic education also. So far as affluent society is concerned, having a computer is not a subject to be discussed about. But for children living around the poverty level, exposure to use of computer more or less is still a sort of dream. Keeping this situation in mind, we have included in our Project at Bagnan a proposal to set up a Computer Training Centre so that all economically backward children get the opportunity to learn computer and its use.

Free Library and Reading Room :

Library, the store house of knowledge, plays one of the most important roles in academic world. There is no doubt that in spite of multifarious progress in the world of communication, library keeps on lighting like a massive torch to show the treasures contained in books, magazines, journals etc. Hence in our project we have very carefully and consciously included the proposal to set up a library access to which will be available to all interested readers free of charges. It is our firm belief that with our earnest effort, setting up the library will be a reality soon.

Construction of Prayer Hall :

India has many religions, many creeds and cultures. It is more than true that the Unity in so much of diversities in our country is unique in the sense that people of India perceive this. Once Swamiji said “Religion is the manifestation of divinity already in man”. He never spoke of any particular religion as he believed that all religions of the world have the same motto. Swamiji in his own composed prayer on Sri Ram Krishna said that he offers his sincerest Pranam to Avatar Sree Ramakrishna because it is he who has observed all religions as ONE. This philosophy has inspired us to build a Prayer Hall where men and women regardless of their religions, creeds, cultures and class will be able to come to look for their spiritual end.

Vocational Training Centre :

Since in our country opportunity of employment has not reached any optimistic level due to various economic reasons, self-employment through self-reliance is becoming more and more relevant. Keeping this idea in mind, our project at Bagnan has proposed to launch a programme to give handicraft and vocational training at Bagnan. To start with, we have proposed to set up a centre to train on Repair of Mobile sets. Our organization is pleased to mention that in our Kolkata centre training on Repair of Mobile sets has already established its worthiness and many a trainees are now successful in this field. Apart from this, we are determined to start other programmes also to provide self-employment,

Charitable Dispensary :

Rural India in particular is yet to get proper medical treatment. People below poverty line or around poverty level cannot afford to pay for medical treatment. Hence with Swamiji’s advice that Service to Man is Service to God, we have proposed to set up a Charitable Dispensary, where experienced doctors will be available to give treatment free of charge. Medicines will also be given free of charges to those who have no means to pay.

Ambulance :

In addition to the Charitable Dispensary, we have undertaken a scheme to launch an ambulance as we have found that at Bagnan an ambulance van is quite essential for patients needing quick transfer to hospitals. Since at our Bagnan project site, infrastructure will not stand in the way, we are sure that our desire will see reality.
