Shri Vitthal Mandir (sion) 3.52

Temple of Lord Vithal & Goddess Rukhmini. This came into existence 1893. But prior to that nearly 25 to 30 years before idols were brought from kshetra Pandharpur. Sadguru Shri Shridhar Maharaj (Khare) was the founder member.
Excellent murti(idol) and beautifully dressed and decorated at every hindu festival.
Trustees Shri Soman family and Pujari/Archak Shri Utpat family are maintaining the administration and nitya pooja from generations.
All daily pooja vidhis are synonymous to that of at kshetra Pandharpur. Pujari Shri Utpat family are originally from Kshetra shri Pandharpur.
Do visit on every Ekadashi and specifically in "Vasant rhitu" - Ekadashis to see "Chandan-ooty", which is peculiarity and identity of this temple.
