Shree Godham Mahatirth Anandvan Pathmeda is the world’s largest and biggest gaushala in Sanchore Distt:Jalore (Rajasthan).

In 1993 a national creative Gosewa (service of cows) compaign was started from this very place to protect the descendants of Kamdhenu, kapila and surbhi cows from atrocity which had been occurring for twelve centuries.The campaign was started by "Param Bhagvat Gorishi Srahdey Swami Sri Duttsharnanandji Maharaj" with eight ‘8’ Indian cows.

Cows that are malnourished, lame, blind, suffering from diseases and set free from butchers are being served here in this pilgrimage!. Also the cow breeds are improved and made self-sufficient so that these mother cows(gomata) can be gifted to the Go-bhakta farmers(their permanent homes).

From ‘8’ mother cows in 1993 ,the number has increased to ‘1,50,000’ in 2012.Besides that thousands of improved cow breeds are sent to their permanent homes(farmers) every year.

Anandvan pathmeda is the holy and pleasant land of India which was selected for grazing and wandering place for milk giving, courageous, gentle and Brahmswaroopa cows by lord Krishna while he was going to Dwarika from Kurukshetra. The Anandvan is the lovely junction of cows rearing folk culture of Marwar, Kathiawad and Tharparker as well as the holy confluence of underground flowing river Sarswati, Sindhu, flowing in Kachh and Savitry which was the place of worship of lord Krishna destroyer of sins of many births, the great teacher Duttatrey and Kamdhenu (the cow which fulfill all the desires.)

Thousands of cows are being killed everyday. This activity is distructive (ruinous) and a great sin. It is against the justice of nature. And painful for the whole universe. The National Kamdhenu Kalyan Parishad Godham Mahatirth Pathmeda was originated by the affliction of these pains in the heart of the saints.There is no place for personalism, sectarianism and political parties in this institution.
