The Shikar Oudi at Rawla Bathera and other properties were part of the Jagir of Bathera, which also included the estates, jungles, common lands and villages in this area. For nearly 3 centuries Rawla Bathera served as the family residence and headquarters of the Jagir, until 1947, when the State of Mewar along with other kingdoms merged with the Union of India. Whilst our families migrated to other parts of the world, the Rawla continued to be used occasionally as a secondary residence and The Shikar Oudi was used as a picnic venue.
