Shemford Futuristic School was founded on 1st January 2016 to impart quality instruction to pupils in general and those residing in semi-rural areas of Anand district. The mission was to help pupils not only to earn their living, but also inculcate those values which pertain to the Indian way of living. With this motto in mind, the institution opted for GSEB curriculum at the onset, and pursued it till the month of March 2016, until the need was felt to impart knowledge in much broader perspective in the event of the emerging world community, so that learners are able to face and tackle the existing global challenges, and hence an unanimous decision was taken to opt for the ICSE curriculum henceforth, which has greater rational and scientific approach to education in comparison to state boards. Considering that the school has been in existence for a little more than a year, it has not done too badly. Various inter-house competitions are organised through the academic year to encourage creative talents and competitive spirit among pupils in this regard. Pupils are coached for various sports activities, fine arts, and so on within school hours and such activities are incorporated in the regular time table. Special classes are held to help pupils (low achievers) to attain their highest potential and stretch their capabilities to the farthest extent possible by a team of skilled teachers. The school is divided into Primary and Middle School. At present there are classes from I to VIII. In the short time that has elapsed since its inception, the institution has arranged a number of outings, field trips and various community service programmes in and around the city.
