Due to absence of good school for slum’s and poor children, Dharmendra KR Singh planed and started a primary and junior level school (Samrat Ashok Vidya Udyan P. School) in Jalpa Nagar, Param Purwa,Juhi, Kanpur (U.P.). This school has been running since 2003.
Their are two categories of students are in school-
1. Totally free of cast for poor family’s/single parent’s children and
2. Per month a nominal charges(as Rs.60.00 per month) payable family’s children.
The main aim of this school is to provide good education and to develop good culture in children of slum area.
We target children falling into the following categories:
Rag Picker, Labor, Poor Family’s and Slum’s Children,
Single Parent Children
Children from poverty-stricken families
Children of physically/mentally challenged Parents
Children of prostitutes
Poor & victim Family’s children
Every year there are more 350 students getting education with the help of some devoted persons under guidance of Dharmendra KR Singh. The school is running very successfully in the area and earning good name and fame for the organization SAHWES.
