SAHU THEATRE HISTORY:

Belongs to the well reputed Business Group of LUCKNOW -SAHU GROUP OF COMPANIES.

Founder of the Group and Sahu Theatre Building – Late Shri Shiv Narayan Sahu.

Hall opened in 1932’ named “PLAZA” with a 650 capacity .

Renamed as REGAL’.

Then after ‘REGAL, it became FILMSTAN’ And NOW it’s Known As “SAHU THEATRE”,

Earlier balcony had a capacity of 190 seats, Now there are 288 seats making it to a total capacity of 838 seats including stall.

Building was designed back in 1930’s by a French Architect.
