RGNUL Book Series on Corporate Law and Corporate Affairs (RBS) is an endeavor to promote research and study in the field of Business Laws. The objective of RBS is sharing of knowledge on current legal issues and to enhance the understanding of these issues through extensive research. The RGNUL Book Series on Corporate Law & Corporate Affairs is a bi-annual, student run, peer reviewed book series based at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. The Book Series focuses on contemporary legal issues related to General Corporate Governance, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Products and Retail, Sports, Dispute Resolution, Communications (Telecom & Broadcasting), Competition Law, Mergers & Acquisition, Taxation etc, with contribution from Legal academicians, Professionals, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, etc.

RGNUL Book Series on Corporate Law & Corporate Affairs, Issue I was on International Taxation. Issue I of RBS aims to provide a platform to students, academicians and legal practitioners to express their original thought on the contemporary legal issues in Corporate Law areas. We sincerely believe that it would help in providing momentum to quality legal research. This edition of the book series contains articles covering different aspects relating to “International Taxation”. In the era of extensive trans-boundary interaction among the sovereign nations, a set of uniform principles, rules and regulations are sine qua non to facilitate the business transactions. Therefore, there arises a need for a robust taxation system which is internationally recognized and followed. The initiatives by the world community as a whole to tactfully contemplate them is required. Henceforth, the edition aspires a detailed discussion on growth and implementation of International Taxation Laws with national concurrence.

RGNUL Book Series on Corporate Law & Corporate Affairs in its Issue II aims to provide a platform to students, academicians and professionals to express their original thought on the contemporary legal issues surrounding Corporate Regulations. In the era of rapid capitalization and new means of funding continually arising, this issue seeks to delve into manifold aspects of corporate regulations. Topics concerning Market Related Regulations; Product related Regulations; Intermediary Related Regulations; Funding Options; Transaction related Regulations are aimed to be discussed in the upcoming edition. The issue is an endeavor to provide all stakeholders a clear and cogent insight into the corporate regulations in India. At the same time, it aims to highlight the bottlenecks which exist and how the loopholes in the current legal framework could effectively be tackled and thereby eradicated. Recognizing the same, this issue hope to promote scholarship generated by all stakeholders, i.e., professionals, academics, researchers, students, investors, regulators amongst others.
