Raja Mahendra College of Engineering was sponsored in the year 2001 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi, and Government of Andhra Pradesh by Raja Mahendra Educational Society under the Chairmanship of Dr. P. Mahender Reddy. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The Institute is fully self financed and managed by dynamic members of the Society. Some of the achievements of our students include securing best university ranks, admission to IITs, foreign universities and placements in reputed companies : Infosys Technologies Limited, TCS, CTS, Mahindra Satyam, etc.

The College has vast premises in the campus of 25 acres in Ibrahimpatnam located at 20 km from the city of Hyderabad, on Nagarjuna Sagar Road Highway. Necessary infrastructure in the form of buildings, state of the art laboratories, computer centre, library and other facilities are built and developed to the extent required but also keeping future expansion of the Institution in view.


Ragging in Educational Institution is prohibited as per the Act of Andhra Pradesh Prohibition Act,1997. RMCK is taking various measures to eradicate ragging menace in the campus and its surroudings. Every year a Ragging awareness program is conducted by Police Department Officials to council the students about ragging and adverse legal effects. If any student or parent wish to bring to the notice of the college authorities about any act of ragging involving students of this college are hereby requested to inform to the college management. Action will be taken immediately. The details will be kept confidential.
