This college is situated on national highway 56, 40 km west from Jaunpur, 50 km from Sultanpur. College started B.Sc. (Maths), B.Ed., B.Sc. (Bio), M.A. (Hindi & Geography) and M.Ed. classes from 1969, 1972, 1974, 1991 and 1993 respectively.

The college is affiliated to V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur as all above has well established departments and highly educated teachers. Rajarshi Kumar Shripal Singh donated the land for college and over which building was mounted by his sincere efforts.
